It is important to have an out-of-town guest experience to deploy for visitors. I have had a few go-to sights to share over the years (walk around nearest urban lake, visit the Mississippi via UofM campus, MOA experience, skyways in downtown Mpls + Nicollet Mall) that have been winners time and again. My newest addition to the list, however, has now displaced all but number one on the list (park by the Lake Harriet bandshell, walk around the ‘top’ of the lake to the Rose & Peace gardens and back to the car through the bird sanctuary). Visit me, and you will visit the Mill City ruins, and take in the river view from the Guthrie’s Endless Bridge and Amber Box.
