Lake Michigan sunset, as seen from the New Buffalo, MI beach

At home, the Lake Michigan beach is for sunrises. Growing up, I used to try and bike there to see them. I nearly always missed. Sunsets are early! My sister has since relocated to the opposite side of the lake, where sun on the water comes as a much more civilized time of day: evening.
