When I was younger, mom and dad rarely traveled back home to Denmark together - finances dictated alternating solo trips. Dad brought me back this sandwich box from one of his trips. I think I was about 8. Until last year, I was storing beads in it. These days it accompanies me to work nearly every day with a beloved standard issue pb&j (thanks @ejgurley!) it’s a nice mid-day reminder that what’s really important in life are the people you love who love you back.
